SkillStack Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Portal
At SkillStack, the safety and well-being of our employees and customers are paramount. As a Western Australian-owned and operated company, we adhere strictly to the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act 2020 (WA) and the Work Health and Safety (General) Regulations 2022 (WA), collectively known as the WA WHS laws.
Who regulates WHS in WA
These laws are regulated by WorkSafe WA, a division of the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety, which ensures that businesses like GadgetNest comply with all health and safety requirements.
Why WHS laws matter
WHS laws are designed to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for everyone. Every worker in Australia has the legal right to expect a safe workplace, and it is the responsibility of employers and business owners to ensure these safety measures are in place.
GadgetNest is committed to maintaining these high standards, recognising that a safe workplace not only protects employees and customers but also drives business success.
Our safety policies reflect a commitment to reduce risks, promote employee well-being, and meet the requirements of both the WHS Act and WorkSafe WA guidelines.

Purpose of a WHS policy:
WHS Policy is a written document that outlines how an organisation intends to fulfill its commitment to workplace health and safety - in practice it contains details of principles, objectives, and commitments to that effect. Additionally, it serves as a selling point for companies by highlighting the health and safety benefits and opportunities they offer to employees.
